In the 12th minute, Leonides Hats made a precise shot to the right of Alessandro Pellegrini. Atalanta's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. The supporters of Mezh Team booed when Atalanta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eraldo Mercuri didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 25 minutes of play, Mezh Team's Gaston Cedro made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gaston Cedro was the one to do the kick off. When Leonides Hats in the 53rd play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Alessandro Pellegrini kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 1-5 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. A collision led to Mezh Team getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Ricardo Gustau hit a great ball. The throw-in from Alberto Leone in the 67th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Mezh Team's Amado Opilano. Alessandro Pellegrini made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Ricardo Gustau sent off a good shot on target. 70 minutes into the match, Cristiano Basso notched a goal, 2-5, to the right of Mezh Team's Aurelio Fliz. Aurelio Fliz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 75 minutes into the match, Mezh Team's goal looked a bit too open when Biagio Selvaggi came free, but Aurelio Fliz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gaston Cedro in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alessandro Pellegrini prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 83 minutes of play, Atalanta's Biagio Selvaggi made it 3-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aurelio Fliz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Alessandro Pellegrini showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gaston Cedro in the 87th minute of the match. In the 92nd minute Cristiano Basso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aurelio Fliz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Mezh Team players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
