With a little luck, Deportivo La Coruna's Urbasa Camarasa got control of the ball when Volker Jahn tried to sneak it across the goal line. With his leg Urbasa Camarasa managed to avoid a goal in the 28thth minute, when Sportfreunde Laubendorf's Robert Ohlicher fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 30 minutes Deportivo La Coruna's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gordon Weispfenning who took care of the corner kick. A well done corner resulted in Paul Wachtmann drilling the ball in to score 1-1 behind Deportivo La Coruna's goalkeeper. The crowd rose to their feet as Robert Ohlicher kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Urbasa Camarasa. That made the score 2-1 in the 36 minute of play. 40 minutes into the match, Sportfreunde Laubendorf's goal looked a bit too open when William Doblas came free, but Erko Kranz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 41 minutes into the match, Sportfreunde Laubendorf's goal looked a bit too open when William Doblas came free, but Erko Kranz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

Erko Kranz came out of the goal in the 51st minute to try and stop a shot by Deportivo La Coruna's William Doblas. But to his dismay, William Doblas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. In the 55th minute Robert Ohlicher shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Urbasa Camarasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 56th minute, William Doblas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Erko Kranz was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. Sportfreunde Laubendorf's Pascal Teucke quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Dolfo Torrent, made in the 63rd minute of the game. William Doblas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Erko Kranz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 72 minutes into the match, Robert Ohlicher notched a goal, 3-3, to the right of Deportivo La Coruna's Urbasa Camarasa. Urbasa Camarasa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If William Doblas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Erko Kranz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manuel Solera in the 84th minute of the match. Erko Kranz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from William Doblas, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. The supporters of Sportfreunde Laubendorf booed when Deportivo La Coruna was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iñaki Bodelon didn't get a good kick on the ball. A sloppy throw-in by Anibal Fernandez in the 91st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Sportfreunde Laubendorf's Paul Wachtmann. The Sportfreunde Laubendorf supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Deportivo La Coruna's performance. The match ended with a win for Deportivo La Coruna.
