If Anton Kristiansen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 5th minute, Grunnfør FC's Preben Derås dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. A collision led to Colorado getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Ramiro Ferreira hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Grunnfør FC's Ole-Martin Værnes got a free kick in the 11th minute. Colorado's Ramiro Ferreira got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ramiro Ferreira during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ramiro Ferreira kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Colorado's zone, Torkel Eek stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luís Fernando Castro came out of the goal and Torkel Eek tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luís Fernando Castro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Preben Derås in the 17th minute. Luís Fernando Castro was a little too slow when Preben Derås got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 25th minute. The score was now 2-0. After a rather tough play, Grunnfør FC's Jan-Arne Dragland got a free kick in the 27th minute. Ramiro Ferreira hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. In the 30th minute, Grunnfør FC's Anton Kristiansen ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Luís Fernando Castro. Luís Fernando Castro yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. In the 34th minute, Jan-Arne Dragland got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Christoffer Schjerven could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Luís Fernando Castro made a huge save. Leandro Hames's late challenge caught a Grunnfør FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Leandro Hames helped the player get up and apologised. In the 36th minute, Leandro Hames hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Grunnfør FC's Christoffer Schjerven got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the Colorado defense, Christoffer Schjerven kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Luís Fernando Castro. The Colorado fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Luís Fernando Castro should have stopped the shot. Luís Fernando Castro stood somewhat misplaced when Anton Kristiansen came free in front of goal and shot 5-0 to the left of him in the 42 minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Anton Kristiansen was the one to do the kick off. Torkel Eek might have been able to make a better finish in the 51st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Luís Fernando Castro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Torkel Eek ran back to his position shaking his head. Luís Fernando Castro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Preben Derås in the 52nd minute of play. Luís Fernando Castro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Anton Kristiansen's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. After some careless play in the Colorado defense, Torkel Eek kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Luís Fernando Castro. The Colorado fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Luís Fernando Castro should have stopped the shot. 60 minutes into the match, Colorado's goal looked a bit too open when Jan-Arne Dragland came free, but Luís Fernando Castro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Anton Kristiansen's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Luís Fernando Castro was relentless in the 61st minute of the game. Carl Haldorsen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Luís Fernando Castro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. 64 minutes into the match, Preben Derås notched a goal, 7-0, to the right of Colorado's Luís Fernando Castro. Luís Fernando Castro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 69 minutes into the match, Colorado's goal looked a bit too open when Preben Derås came free, but Luís Fernando Castro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Grunnfør FC getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Preben Derås hit a great ball. After 73 minutes, Jeferson Vianna mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Colorado and the Grunnfør FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 73rd minute, Jeferson Vianna hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 79th minute, Gláuber Pirani hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Colorado's Gabriel Paranaense got a free kick in the 80th minute. A very good chance. 91 minutes into the match, Grunnfør FC's goalkeeper Raymond Schjølberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gláuber Pirani. Grunnfør FC's Raymond Schjølberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ramiro Ferreira in the 93rd minute of play. In the 95th minute, Gláuber Pirani ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Raymond Schjølberg was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-1. When the referee ended the match the Grunnfør FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
