Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Teofilo Maidana in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ferdinand Van Mechelen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 14th minute Teofilo Maidana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ferdinand Van Mechelen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ferdinand Van Mechelen came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by Carabata Groove's Teofilo Maidana. But to his dismay, Teofilo Maidana quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. 16 minutes into the match, Carabata Groove's goal looked a bit too open when Tõnn Lauter came free, but Cristobal Goito reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 20 minutes FC Tarbja's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ambrosio Bartolome who took care of the corner kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Teofilo Maidana in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ferdinand Van Mechelen saved FC Tarbja from getting behind. 24 minutes into the match, Carabata Groove's goal looked a bit too open when Tõnn Lauter came free, but Cristobal Goito reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ferdinand Van Mechelen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teofilo Maidana, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 35th minute of the match Carabata Groove got a corner. FC Tarbja's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ambrosio Bartolome ran over to the corner to take the kick. 2-1 became the score in the 38th minute when Tõnn Lauter elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 44 minutes into the match, FC Tarbja's goal looked a bit too open when Teofilo Maidana came free, but Ferdinand Van Mechelen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Teofilo Maidana managed to get in a good position for a shot. Carabata Groove's supporters rose to their feet, but Teofilo Maidana was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ferdinand Van Mechelen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Carabata Groove's Mauro Elazar was substituted for Teofilo Maidana. Carabata Groove's David Rios was substituted for Ambrosio Bartolome. Carabata Groove's Andreas Möller was substituted for Herbert Pilipiec. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mauro Elazar was the one to do the kick off. Mauro Elazar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Rios in the 64th minute of play forced FC Tarbja's goalkeeper Ferdinand Van Mechelen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With an all-out effort, FC Tarbja's Cristobal Goito threw himself towards the right post 66 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from İbrahim Volkan, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Ferdinand Van Mechelen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from David Rios, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. This resulted in a 2-2 score and a disappointed Cristobal Goito as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 82nd minute, Verner Nordin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Carabata Groove's Andreas Möller got a free kick in the 85th minute. 86 minutes into the match, İbrahim Volkan notched a goal, 2-4, to the right of Carabata Groove's Cristobal Goito. Cristobal Goito was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ferdinand Van Mechelen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from David Rios, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 97 played minutes Carabata Groove got a freekick which was hit by Andreas Möller. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. FC Tarbja had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
