In the 3rd minute, Carabata Groove's Teofilo Maidana ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Guido Herrera. Guido Herrera yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Guido Herrera was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Teofilo Maidana showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 8 minute of play. Cristobal Goito stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sabino Telinhos's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. 12 minutes into the match, Teofilo Maidana dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Guido Herrera, 3-0. SC Farense's Guido Herrera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save SC Farense from getting a goal against them. Teofilo Maidana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Teofilo Maidana's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Guido Herrera firmly grabbed it by the left post. 20 minutes in the game Almiro Bacelar did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Grigoris Bikakis. Teofilo Maidana blasted a shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Guido Herrera having to make a save. Despite this Guido Herrera quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 30 minutes into the match, SC Farense's goalkeeper Guido Herrera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Teofilo Maidana. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind SC Farense's goalkeeper Guido Herrera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Teofilo Maidana could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Guido Herrera made a huge save. After 40 minutes, Almiro Bacelar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Farense and the Carabata Groove players grew even worse after the yellow card. Carabata Groove's Cristobal Goito played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sabino Telinhos in the 46th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in SC Farense's zone, Teofilo Maidana stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Guido Herrera came out of the goal and Teofilo Maidana tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Carabata Groove made a substitution. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mauro Elazar to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mauro Elazar in the 56th minute of play forced SC Farense's goalkeeper Guido Herrera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 57 minutes, David Rios managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Carabata Groove's supporters crossed their fingers, but David Rios was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match had gone on for 59 minutes, Mauro Elazar put it in 4-0 from a short distance just to the right of Guido Herrera. After 62 played minutes, Carabata Groove's Zachary Bielenda shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Guido Herrera came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Carabata Groove reached it. Guido Herrera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mauro Elazar in the 63rd minute of the match. Andreas Möller was slow to take the kick. During this time Carabata Groove's players had a chance to rest. Mauro Elazar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 79thth minute of the game Mauro Elazar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Farense's Guido Herrera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Mauro Elazar's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Guido Herrera was relentless in the 81st minute of the game. After a rather tough play, SC Farense's Israel Aguiar got a free kick in the 85th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mauro Elazar in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Guido Herrera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Guido Herrera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David Rios in the 87th minute of play. 89 minutes into the match, SC Farense's goal looked a bit too open when David Rios came free, but Guido Herrera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carabata Groove's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Andreas Möller in the 92nd minute. A well-hit corner resulted in Iisakki Hilden heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. In the 94th minute, Diego Leme hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 95 minutes into the match, SC Farense's goal looked a bit too open when Andreas Möller came free, but Guido Herrera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mauro Elazar in the 95th minute of play forced SC Farense's goalkeeper Guido Herrera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Mauro Elazar's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Guido Herrera was relentless in the 97th minute of the game. For all the effort they put into the match, the SC Farense players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Carabata Groove.
