The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. ORIZABA F.C.'s Oliver Kan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by André Maraschin in the 5th minute of play. Oliver Kan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from André Maraschin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 14 played minutes LVCVS AVGVSTI got a freekick which was hit by Felix Orlan. Cyprian Oliszewski charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cyprian Oliszewski the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Cyprian Oliszewski kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Leoncio Huerta kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. When André Maraschin came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the LVCVS AVGVSTI fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that André Maraschin couldn't finish the play. 29 minutes into the match, LVCVS AVGVSTI's goal looked a bit too open when Cyprian Oliszewski came free, but Geronimo Argi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. André Maraschin might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Oliver Kan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. André Maraschin ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 35th minute Cyprian Oliszewski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Geronimo Argi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Orhan Bey in the 39th minute of play forced LVCVS AVGVSTI's goalkeeper Geronimo Argi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Felix Orlan hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. After 46 played minutes, ORIZABA F.C.'s Amílton Loyola shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Geronimo Argi came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in ORIZABA F.C. reached it. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

In the 53rd minute, André Maraschin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Oliver Kan was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. 63 minutes into the match, LVCVS AVGVSTI's André Maraschin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Oliver Kan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. LVCVS AVGVSTI's Gaudencio Olle was substituted for Felix Orlan. An unexpectedly hard shot by André Maraschin in the 69th minute of play forced ORIZABA F.C.'s goalkeeper Oliver Kan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to LVCVS AVGVSTI getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Gaudencio Olle hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, LVCVS AVGVSTI's Gaudencio Olle got a free kick in the 71st minute. With an all-out effort, ORIZABA F.C.'s Geronimo Argi threw himself towards the right post 76 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Orhan Bey, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Lucjan Mis took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Oliver Kan. Oliver Kan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. ORIZABA F.C. made a substitution. Jaroslaw Maurycy replaced Orhan Bey. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lucjan Mis in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Oliver Kan saved ORIZABA F.C. from getting behind. Virgil van Dijk was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 89 minutes into the match. A collision led to ORIZABA F.C. getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Virgil van Dijk hit a great ball. Geronimo Argi made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Jaroslaw Maurycy sent off a good shot on target. For all the effort they put into the match, the ORIZABA F.C. players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for LVCVS AVGVSTI.
