Alexander Van Houdtvinck took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Endrick de Souza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Rayland FC's Endrick de Souza in 30 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Alexander Van Houdtvinck guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. In the 34thth minute of the game Alessio Borrelli who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rayland FC's Joel Bertol was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a little luck, Quebracho FC's Alexander Van Houdtvinck got control of the ball when Roger Bannister tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Nicanor Flores managed to get in a good position for a shot. Quebracho FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Nicanor Flores was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joel Bertol breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 42nd match minute, Rayland FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Endrick de Souza to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Rayland FC getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Leszek Sidor hit a great ball. Joel Bertol made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alessio Borrelli in the 45th minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Roger Bannister to make the kick off. Alexander Van Houdtvinck made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Endrick de Souza in the 51st minute of play. 54 minutes into the match, Rayland FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alessio Borrelli came free, but Joel Bertol reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alessio Borrelli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joel Bertol having to interfere. Quebracho FC made a substitution. Quebracho FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but He Yi Yuan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rayland FC's Joel Bertol proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Rayland FC from getting a goal against them. If He Yi Yuan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Joel Bertol was a little too slow when He Yi Yuan got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 94th minute. The score was now 1-1.
