In the 31st minute Adrián-Daniel Dobre shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ksawery Witkowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lyle Coppack showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juan Mondaca in the 33rd minute of the match. After having played for 33 minutes, Juan Mondaca managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Magallanes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Juan Mondaca was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lyle Coppack showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juan Mondaca, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. 36 minutes into the match, Juan Mondaca had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lyle Coppack. Erdélyi SE Marosvásárhely's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Juan Mondaca was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mihăiţă Stolniceanu in the 39th minute of play forced Magallanes's goalkeeper Ksawery Witkowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 40 minutes Magallanes's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Anacleto Geofredo who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Erdélyi SE Marosvásárhely's Mihăiţă Stolniceanu to fire away a dangerous shot which Ksawery Witkowski despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After a rather tough play, Erdélyi SE Marosvásárhely's Anacleto Geofredo got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Tomás Thompson struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Lyle Coppack didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Magallanes. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mihăiţă Stolniceanu was the one to do the kick off. Magallanes's Ksawery Witkowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luiz Fábio Guimarães in the 54th minute of play. Erdélyi SE Marosvásárhely's Lyle Coppack played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juan Mondaca in the 55th minute of play. Lyle Coppack made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Anacleto Dessauer sent off a good shot on target. In the 60thth minute of the game Mihăiţă Stolniceanu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Magallanes's Ksawery Witkowski was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 62 minutes in the game, Anacleto Dessauer fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Lyle Coppack having to interfere. Magallanes's Kadim Sebil was substituted for Juan Mondaca. Magallanes's Juan Fernando Pirola was substituted for Alejandro Campbell. Ksawery Witkowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luiz Fábio Guimarães in the 65th minute of play. Erdélyi SE Marosvásárhely's Ferdinand Zmărăndache was substituted for Adrián-Daniel Dobre. Erdélyi SE Marosvásárhely's Carlos Mei was substituted for Mihăiţă Stolniceanu. Guille Aravena kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 74 minutes, Lyle Coppack successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post.
