Gottlieb Hammers short, quick shot in the 16thth minute got Eugenio Molina to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Balus Treter's Neşat Beykan managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Elvio Sasoin in the 19 minute of the game. Gottlieb Hammer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Paulo Godoi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Karsten Zielinski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. 34 minutes into the match, LACELESTEYBLANCA's Paulo Godoi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Karsten Zielinski narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gottlieb Hammer had several of the LACELESTEYBLANCA's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 37 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Eugenio Molina as he didn't even see the shot coming. 40 minutes into the game, LACELESTEYBLANCA's Paulo Godoi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Karsten Zielinski made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Karsten Zielinski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulo Godoi in the 52nd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Gottlieb Hammer managed to get in a good position for a shot. Balus Treter's supporters rose to their feet, but Gottlieb Hammer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eugenio Molina breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 80 minutes into the match, LACELESTEYBLANCA's Paulo Godoi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Karsten Zielinski narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
