Cristián Monasterio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ove Salkvist went, in the 3rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. BK Gubbhöft were awarded a corner in the 9th minute after Aquatec FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ciro Incendio took the corner. In the 13th minute Ove Salkvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristián Monasterio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 15 minutes into the match, Ove Salkvist had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cristián Monasterio. Aquatec FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ove Salkvist was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. 22 minutes into the match, BK Gubbhöft's Ove Salkvist sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cristián Monasterio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Aquatec FC's Cristián Monasterio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ove Salkvist in the 26th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ove Salkvist in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cristián Monasterio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 31 minutes into the match, Ove Salkvist notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Aquatec FC's Cristián Monasterio. Cristián Monasterio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Quintin Gomar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 40 minutes of play, BK Gubbhöft's Ove Salkvist made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cristián Monasterio was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ove Salkvist's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cristián Monasterio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-5 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Vincent Abubakar stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ove Salkvist might have been able to make a better finish in the 52nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cristián Monasterio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ove Salkvist ran back to his position shaking his head. Aquatec FC's Cristián Monasterio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ove Salkvist in the 52nd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Ove Salkvist's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cristián Monasterio was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. 54 minutes into the match, Ove Salkvist had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cristián Monasterio. Sten Hydén blasted a shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cristián Monasterio having to make a save. BK Gubbhöft made a substitution. Jonas Ahlin replaced Ove Salkvist. BK Gubbhöft's Victor Blue was substituted for Sten Hydén. Cristián Monasterio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jonas Ahlin in the 64th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonas Ahlin in the 67th minute of play forced Aquatec FC's goalkeeper Cristián Monasterio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristián Monasterio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victor Blue in the 68th minute of play. 70 minutes into the match, Aquatec FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fidel Veronica came free, but Cristián Monasterio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 71st match minute, BK Gubbhöft was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fidel Veronica to maneuver through the defense. Ciro Incendio kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Zumar Gascon managed to get in a good position for a shot. Aquatec FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Zumar Gascon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Isaac Jonasson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cristián Monasterio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fidel Veronica, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cristián Monasterio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victor Blue, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Cristián Monasterio was out of position in the 82 minute of play, and Victor Blue capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Victor Blue really showed his touch with that goal: 0-7. Through an outstanding action, after 84 minutes, Cristián Monasterio successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Fidel Veronica received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Cristián Monasterio came out and tried to block the shot, but Fidel Veronica slotted it home off the left post making it 0-8 in the 87th minute. Cristián Monasterio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonas Ahlin, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fidel Veronica in the 96th minute of play forced Aquatec FC's goalkeeper Cristián Monasterio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
