The crowd rose to their feet as Fabian Pietro kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Alex Wållander. That made the score 2-0 in the 10 minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cornelio Ixidor in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alex Wållander prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Denis Calvino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabrizio Ravanelli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 22nd minute of the match Samyang Ramen got a corner. Atlético Villa Gesell's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Hans-Jürgen Nudelman ran over to the corner to take the kick. Alex Wållander showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cornelio Ixidor, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. After 25 minutes, Dario Bingen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Atlético Villa Gesell and the Samyang Ramen players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 25th minute, Dario Bingen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Walter Siggman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Denis Calvino was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. The crowd rose to their feet as Atlético Villa Gesell's Fabian Pietro slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Alex Wållander. That made the score 3-0 after 28 minutes of play. If Göran Nordgren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Atlético Villa Gesell's Paolo Aguirre managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Jon Kaxe in the 36 minute of the game. When Atlético Villa Gesell's Cornelio Ixidor in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Walter Siggman stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Benjamin Sal hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. When Hans-Jürgen Nudelman came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Samyang Ramen fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hans-Jürgen Nudelman couldn't finish the play. Samyang Ramen's Bo-Erik Apelkvist was substituted for Fabrizio Ravanelli. 62 minutes into the match, Atlético Villa Gesell's goalkeeper Denis Calvino had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hans-Jürgen Nudelman. 63 minutes into the match, Samyang Ramen's goal looked a bit too open when Paolo Aguirre came free, but Alex Wållander reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
