The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Azim Onatsu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gabriel Voineag made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zbyszko Pieprz in the 10th minute of play. Gabriel Voineag took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonas Berggren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Zbyszko Pieprz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gabriel Voineag was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jonas Berggren in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gabriel Voineag saved Shohoku FC from getting behind. Zbyszko Pieprz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gabriel Voineag read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. Shohoku FC's Juan Cristóbal Bahamondes got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Milosz Zabrzeski in the 43rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Gabriel Voineag, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jonas Berggren made a kick off. In the 52nd minute Milosz Zabrzeski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gabriel Voineag saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonas Berggren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gabriel Voineag having to interfere. In the 60th minute Jonas Berggren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gabriel Voineag saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 61 minutes, Jonas Berggren put it in 5-0 from a short distance just to the right of Gabriel Voineag. Jupiter Siemiatycze made a substitution. Jarrod Bowen replaced Jonas Berggren. Blas Obeko blasted a shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gabriel Voineag having to make a save. In the 68thth minute of the game Jarrod Bowen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Shohoku FC's Gabriel Voineag was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gabriel Voineag made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jarrod Bowen in the 71st minute of play. Jarrod Bowen might have been able to make a better finish in the 74th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gabriel Voineag. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jarrod Bowen ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of Shohoku FC booed when Jupiter Siemiatycze was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adam Kante didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Jupiter Siemiatycze fans' excitement grew in the 78th match minute when Jupiter Siemiatycze's Jarrod Bowen looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 6-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Jarrod Bowen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Shohoku FC defense, Jarrod Bowen kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gabriel Voineag. The Shohoku FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gabriel Voineag should have stopped the shot. 89 minutes into the match, Blas Obeko had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gabriel Voineag. Shohoku FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Blas Obeko was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-0. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Jupiter Siemiatycze had played much better football throughout.
