In the 12th minute Víktor Magalhães shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maelgwn Le Bars saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 17 de enero team's Zoran Simović proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save 17 de enero team from getting a goal against them. Maelgwn Le Bars showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Víktor Magalhães, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ni Jun Liang in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zoran Simović prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Pan Xiang Kuan made a great header on En avant de guingamp's corner, it was just that 17 de enero team's Zoran Simović managed to reach the ball for a save. 25 minutes into the game, Antônio Carlos Almeida recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Zoran Simović. Antônio Carlos Almeida showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. After 29th play minutes Ni Jun Liang shot 2-1, a short shot which went by Zoran Simović and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 34th minute of the match, Luc Anstett got a very nice opportunity to score, but Zoran Simović was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Antônio Carlos Almeida came free with the goalkeeper in the 35th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Zoran Simović could save by the left post. The supporters of En avant de guingamp booed when 17 de enero team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joel Gamus didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, 17 de enero team's Zoran Simović got control of the ball when Antônio Carlos Almeida tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 44 played minutes 17 de enero team got a freekick which was hit by Michel Salgado. In the 45th minute, Pan Xiang Kuan fired a really elegant long shot, but Zoran Simović threw himself and managed to get hold of the ball just in front of the right post. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Victoriano Iratzeder stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 56 minutes into the game, Victoriano Iratzeder recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Maelgwn Le Bars. Victoriano Iratzeder showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-2. Luc Anstett hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Joel Gamus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maelgwn Le Bars having to interfere. Antônio Carlos Almeida made in the 66th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by 17 de enero team's Michel Salgado. Zoran Simović showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antônio Carlos Almeida in the 72nd minute of the match. 17 de enero team's Zoran Simović played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ni Jun Liang in the 75th minute of play. En avant de guingamp's Maelgwn Le Bars played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gamus in the 76th minute of play. En avant de guingamp's Maelgwn Le Bars proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save En avant de guingamp from getting a goal against them. 79 minutes into the match, 17 de enero team's goal looked a bit too open when Ni Jun Liang came free, but Zoran Simović reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zoran Simović stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ni Jun Liang's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. In the 89th match minute, En avant de guingamp was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Denizhan Ünüvar to maneuver through the defense. Zoran Simović took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ni Jun Liang, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
