Spectators: 47 (Terracing: 36, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Armando Natalucci made the kick off which started today's match. Italy's Bruno Antognoni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kleanthis Zoumakis in the 4th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Armando Natalucci in the 7th minute of play forced Herta Budino's goalkeeper Fortunato Sangermano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bruno Antognoni took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Davide Rinaldi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 11 minutes into the match, Herta Budino's goalkeeper Fortunato Sangermano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ferruccio Zarillo. After a defensive mix-up in Italy's zone, Davide Rinaldi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bruno Antognoni came out of the goal and Davide Rinaldi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 13 played minutes Herta Budino got a freekick which was hit by Jan-Frederik Bubanja. Armando Natalucci had several of the Herta Budino's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 18 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-0 score and a disappointed Fortunato Sangermano as he didn't even see the shot coming. Fortunato Sangermano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Armando Natalucci in the 21st minute of play. 24 minutes into the game, Italy's Armando Natalucci nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fortunato Sangermano made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Armando Natalucci in the 30th minute of play forced Herta Budino's goalkeeper Fortunato Sangermano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 36 minutes into the match, Italy's goal looked a bit too open when Davide Rinaldi came free, but Bruno Antognoni reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fortunato Sangermano was a little too slow when Armando Natalucci got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 42nd minute. The score was now 4-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Herta Budino's Virgílio Furtado was substituted for Achille Di Crescenzo. The wind increased when Virgílio Furtado made the kick off in the second half. Bruno Antognoni showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Virgílio Furtado, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Fortunato Sangermano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ferruccio Zarillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 62nd minute, Armando Natalucci got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Italy's Cesare Maestri was substituted for Rui Costa. Italy's Enzo Luongo was substituted for Armando Natalucci. After 66 played minutes Italy got a freekick which was hit by Mattia Hummels. Fortunato Sangermano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lautaro-Gabriel Martinez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Enzo Luongo in the 72nd minute of play forced Herta Budino's goalkeeper Fortunato Sangermano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 73 minutes into the game, Lautaro-Gabriel Martinez cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Fortunato Sangermano was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A nice corner shot did that Donato Dossena got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Fortunato Sangermano quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 84thth minute of the game Virgílio Furtado who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Italy's Bruno Antognoni was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Enzo Luongo in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fortunato Sangermano saved Herta Budino from getting behind. In the 96th minute, Enzo Luongo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fortunato Sangermano was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. Italy's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
