Villaverde Celeste Clube's Nenko Reza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicanor Bieito in the 10th minute of play. Tobias Faro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Roy Makaay in the 11th minute. With his leg Tobias Faro managed to avoid a goal in the 18thth minute, when Villaverde Celeste Clube's Kıraç Uskan fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Robustiano Elorri kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 24 minutes, Roy Makaay took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Tobias Faro to make any attempt to save it. Social y Dep. Patagonia made a substitution. Arnaldo Bastia replaced Everardo Remigio. Leo Pangsepp's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nenko Reza read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. 34 minutes into the match, Leo Pangsepp had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nenko Reza. Villaverde Celeste Clube's Dino Manfredi managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Guillermo Rico in the 43 minute of the game. After 43 played minutes Social y Dep. Patagonia got a freekick which was hit by Nicanor Bieito.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Leo Pangsepp stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Nenko Reza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leo Pangsepp, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Social y Dep. Patagonia were awarded a corner in the 55th minute after Villaverde Celeste Clube's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Lázaro Gau took the corner. Nicanor Bieito made a great header on Social y Dep. Patagonia's corner, it was just that Villaverde Celeste Clube's Nenko Reza managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 71st minute, Armandinho Xavier got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 74 minutes into the match, Kıraç Uskan notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Social y Dep. Patagonia's Tobias Faro. Tobias Faro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 94th minute, Kıraç Uskan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tobias Faro was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. Social y Dep. Patagonia's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Villaverde Celeste Clube had won, even though Social y Dep. Patagonia had held more of the ball.
