With an all-out effort, Defensores del Ángel Gris's Guaberto Ortzi threw himself towards the right post 10 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Bernard Ochabski, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Guaberto Ortzi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfonso Gilabert, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Aureliano Ovando was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind CCONAWI5FUTBOLCLUB's goalkeeper Guaberto Ortzi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Defensores del Ángel Gris made a substitution. Rene Gerber replaced Serafim Catranides. In the 70th minute of the match Defensores del Ángel Gris got a corner. CCONAWI5FUTBOLCLUB's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Eleuterio Chabier ran over to the corner to take the kick. Caicedo Linda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Uriel Chorche having to interfere. CCONAWI5FUTBOLCLUB's Guaberto Ortzi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leopoldo Aimar in the 86th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Alfonso Gilabert's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Guaberto Ortzi was relentless in the 87th minute of the game. Guaberto Ortzi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfonso Gilabert in the 92nd minute of play. When Caicedo Linda came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the CCONAWI5FUTBOLCLUB fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Caicedo Linda couldn't finish the play. Defensores del Ángel Gris's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
