In the 13th match minute, Champions Iasi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Remington Dobson to maneuver through the defense. In the 16th minute, Remington Dobson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 23 minutes into the match, Champions Iasi's goal looked a bit too open when Erasmo Veiga came free, but Rouven Nussli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 24th minute Erasmo Veiga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rouven Nussli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pontus Fagrell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Leopoldo Rivero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rouven Nussli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicolas Teixeira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rouven Nussli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicolas Teixeira in the 35th minute of the match. Champions Iasi's Rouven Nussli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erasmo Veiga in the 39th minute of play. In the 40th minute, Stefan Pieters hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 42nd minute Nicolas Teixeira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rouven Nussli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 44 minutes into the match, Nicolas Teixeira notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Champions Iasi's Rouven Nussli. Rouven Nussli was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.

When the referee blew the final whistle, Champions Iasi could leave the field as winners, despite DOROSTOL Ss having more of the ball for most of the match.
