Spectators: 47 (Terracing: 36, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) Ruud van Nistelrooij started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 13th minute, Calenzano's Federico Tedeschi dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Donato Balestra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Håkan Šuker, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ruud van Nistelrooij in the 24th minute of play forced Honung's goalkeeper Aristide Beșliu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Federico Tedeschi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Aristide Beșliu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Donato Balestra came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by Honung's Håkan Šuker. But to his dismay, Håkan Šuker quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Enzo Martelli hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. 36 minutes into the match, Calenzano's goal looked a bit too open when Angel Lehoi came free, but Donato Balestra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Donato Balestra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Håkan Šuker in the 45th minute of play. King Puck scored 1-2 in the 48th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Donato Balestra, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Håkan Šuker made a kick off. Angel Lehoi came free with the goalkeeper in the 56th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Donato Balestra could save by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Federico Tedeschi in the 58th minute of play forced Honung's goalkeeper Aristide Beșliu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 59th minute, Sten Wennersten fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Donato Balestra, passed just outside the right post. Calenzano's Arturo Di Matteo was substituted for Ruud van Nistelrooij. Donato Balestra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Håkan Šuker in the 67th minute of play. After 68 played minutes Honung got a freekick which was hit by Li Ang. Honung's Malcolm Lindström was substituted for Angel Lehoi. Honung made a substitution. Rune Fredriksson replaced Juan Manuel Vargas. A collision led to Honung getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Li Ang hit a great ball. In the 79th minute of the match, Håkan Šuker tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Donato Balestra saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Honung's Malcolm Lindström in the 85th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Donato Balestra was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Calenzano through an amazing save. Arturo Di Matteo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Aristide Beșliu having to make a save. When Calenzano's Arturo Di Matteo in the 91st minute got a chance for a shot 91st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Honung's goalie prevented a goal. Donato Balestra made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Håkan Šuker sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Honung booed when Calenzano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fedele Alessandrini didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Calenzano's Ahmed Sinan got a free kick in the 96th minute. Honung's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
