In the 11th minute Leopoldo Manta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Inge Marin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 15 minutes into the match, Zagłębie Dąbrowskie's goal looked a bit too open when Godofredo Inko came free, but Fabian Arendarski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 15 minutes, Godofredo Inko took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Fabian Arendarski to make any attempt to save it. Inge Marin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leopoldo Manta in the 25th minute of play. 27 minutes into the match, Cuatrodeocho's goal looked a bit too open when Roman Kon came free, but Inge Marin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leopoldo Manta scored 1-2 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Inge Marin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Zagłębie Dąbrowskie's attentive Grzegorz Jankowski managed to snatch the ball when Ronaldo Messi made a throw-in in the 36th minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Leopoldo Manta managed to get in a good position for a shot. Zagłębie Dąbrowskie's supporters rose to their feet, but Leopoldo Manta was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Inge Marin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With an all-out effort, Cuatrodeocho's Fabian Arendarski threw himself towards the right post 42 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Godofredo Inko, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Leopoldo Manta was the one to do the kick off. Inge Marin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leopoldo Manta in the 53rd minute of the match. Zagłębie Dąbrowskie's Fabian Arendarski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Batuhin in the 58th minute of play. 60 minutes into the match, Zagłębie Dąbrowskie's Leopoldo Manta sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Inge Marin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Zagłębie Dąbrowskie made a substitution. Karol Biskupiak replaced Leopoldo Manta. Cuatrodeocho made a substitution. Eraldo Berardini replaced Kaan Ayhan. In the 63rd minute of the match Zagłębie Dąbrowskie got a corner. Cuatrodeocho's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Grzegorz Jankowski ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Zagłębie Dąbrowskie's corner Czeslaw Kossakowski fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Inge Marin quite easily take care of the ball. Fabian Arendarski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from David Batuhin, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Inge Marin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roman Kon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 72nd minute, David Batuhin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cuatrodeocho fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Cuatrodeocho's Iván Villafane was substituted for David Batuhin. Fabian Arendarski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iván Villafane in the 77th minute of play. Inge Marin made an important save on a dangerous shot by István Hoffman in the 83rd minute. A collision led to Cuatrodeocho getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Andy Entrena hit a great ball. Roman Kon took the ball and in the 86 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Inge Marin. Inge Marin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. Zagłębie Dąbrowskie's Fabian Arendarski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iván Villafane in the 89th minute of play. The Zagłębie Dąbrowskie players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
