The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute Paolo Ruisko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chuan Cintron saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Atlético Municipal's zone, Paolo Ruisko stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Chuan Cintron came out of the goal and Paolo Ruisko tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Zé Paulo Queirós fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored UPTEXTIL.COM's protests and gave Zé Paulo Queirós a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Atlético Municipal booed when UPTEXTIL.COM was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zé Paulo Queirós didn't get a good kick on the ball. 9 minutes into the match, Paolo Ruisko notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Atlético Municipal's Chuan Cintron. Chuan Cintron was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Mateus Cruz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Oscar De León in the 13th minute. Chuan Cintron showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cüneyt Berksoy in the 15th minute of the match. Andoni Viguri who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 16thth minute tested the skills of Mateus Cruz when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 17 minutes into the match, UPTEXTIL.COM's goal looked a bit too open when Andoni Viguri came free, but Mateus Cruz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mateus Cruz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claude Sena in the 20th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Andoni Viguri got free with Mateus Cruz in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 25th minute Paolo Ruisko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chuan Cintron saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oscar De León in the 26th minute of play forced UPTEXTIL.COM's goalkeeper Mateus Cruz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. UPTEXTIL.COM's Mateus Cruz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oscar De León in the 29th minute of play. In the 32nd minute Belchior Mamatov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chuan Cintron saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Chuan Cintron made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Belchior Mamatov in the 34th minute of play. Mateus Cruz came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by Atlético Municipal's Silvanito Gainza. But to his dismay, Silvanito Gainza quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Mateus Cruz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Willie Colon in the 38th minute. 41 minutes into the match, UPTEXTIL.COM's goal looked a bit too open when Jarkko Tuovinen came free, but Mateus Cruz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 42 minutes, Claude Sena took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Mateus Cruz to make any attempt to save it.

The wind increased when Oscar De León made the kick off in the second half. Mateus Cruz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oscar De León in the 54th minute of play. 57 minutes into the match, Oscar De León notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of UPTEXTIL.COM's Mateus Cruz. Mateus Cruz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 61st minute, Felix Calisto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Atlético Municipal's Chuan Cintron played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cüneyt Berksoy in the 67th minute of play. A nice corner shot did that Claude Sena got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Mateus Cruz quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Atlético Municipal made a substitution. Gau Resto replaced Andoni Viguri. Chuan Cintron made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Martin Ødegaard sent off a good shot on target. In the 80th minute, UPTEXTIL.COM's Mário Maldini ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Chuan Cintron. Chuan Cintron yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-2. 84 minutes into the match, UPTEXTIL.COM's goal looked a bit too open when Jarkko Tuovinen came free, but Mateus Cruz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Chuan Cintron made an important save on a dangerous shot by Martin Ødegaard in the 88th minute. UPTEXTIL.COM's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
