Sílvio Luiz Goiano came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by Artevasi F.C's Jacek Rasimowicz. But to his dismay, Jacek Rasimowicz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Sílvio Luiz Goiano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Freddie Fransson in the 18th minute of the match. Real Madrid de Guatemala's Sílvio Luiz Goiano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jacek Rasimowicz in the 21st minute of play. In the 23rd minute Imran Pusaka shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sílvio Luiz Goiano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. In the 42nd minute Alcides Antas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sílvio Luiz Goiano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Carmelo Sifon stepped up to make the kick off in the second half.
