Martin Jax received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Clem Fath came out and tried to block the shot, but Martin Jax slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 5th minute. In the 15th minute, Willy Hautefeuille hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Clem Fath made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Martin Jax sent off a good shot on target. In the 22nd minute of the match Cosa nostra Lyon got a corner. GERLIROJO Ψ's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Erwann Patrice ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led to Cosa nostra Lyon's Davy Patron getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Andres Lastur didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Erwann Patrice went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. If Martin Jax had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 31 minutes into the match, Cosa nostra Lyon's goalkeeper Clem Fath had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Martin Jax. After a defensive mix-up in Cosa nostra Lyon's zone, Martin Jax stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Clem Fath came out of the goal and Martin Jax tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With 46 minutes on the clock, Roger Bouget commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 47th minute, Roger Bouget hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bogdan Bambas to make the kick off. With a little luck, GERLIROJO Ψ's Andres Lastur got control of the ball when Erwann Patrice tried to sneak it across the goal line. 61 minutes into the match, GERLIROJO Ψ's Martin Jax sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Clem Fath narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Andres Lastur made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bogdan Bambas in the 66th minute of play. Cyryl Lichorobiec kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. In the 71st minute, Cyryl Lichorobiec hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of GERLIROJO Ψ booed when Cosa nostra Lyon was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erwann Patrice didn't get a good kick on the ball. Clem Fath made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Epifanio Ibañez in the 76th minute of play. GERLIROJO Ψ's Andres Lastur proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save GERLIROJO Ψ from getting a goal against them. Bogdan Bambas charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bogdan Bambas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 84 played minutes Cosa nostra Lyon got a freekick which was hit by Bogdan Bambas. After a rather tough play, Cosa nostra Lyon's Thierry Platon got a free kick in the 86th minute. Cosa nostra Lyon's Florian Lardenois managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Iwan Rawa in the 93 minute of the game. Cosa nostra Lyon's Clem Fath played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Epifanio Ibañez in the 96th minute of play. GERLIROJO Ψ were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
