Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Cöpacabana FC's Dagoberto Loureiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joaquín Ybarra in the 7th minute of play. Martín Ferreyra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Dagoberto Loureiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 13 minutes into the match, Cöpacabana FC's goal looked a bit too open when Martín Ferreyra came free, but Dagoberto Loureiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dagoberto Loureiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcelo Cordero in the 17th minute of play. Dražen Ladić made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dobromir Brudnicki in the 23rd minute of play. Dagoberto Loureiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martín Ferreyra in the 25th minute of play. 27 minutes into the match, Cöpacabana FC's goalkeeper Dagoberto Loureiro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Martín Ferreyra. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marcelo Cordero in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dagoberto Loureiro saved Cöpacabana FC from getting behind. In the 35th minute Vito Leite shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dražen Ladić saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fac. de Ed. An unexpectedly hard shot by Martín Ferreyra in the 41st minute of play forced Cöpacabana FC's goalkeeper Dagoberto Loureiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Cöpacabana FC getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Chico Hermes hit a great ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Vito Leite to make the kick off. Dagoberto Loureiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcelo Cordero in the 50th minute of play. Vito Leite came free with the goalkeeper in the 56th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Dražen Ladić could save by the left post. Dagoberto Loureiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcelo Cordero in the 58th minute of play. Dagoberto Loureiro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Martín Ferreyra's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. After 62 played minutes Cöpacabana FC got a freekick which was hit by Beto Braga. Joaquín Gonzalez Del Solar hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcelo Cordero in the 66th minute of play forced Cöpacabana FC's goalkeeper Dagoberto Loureiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Chico Hermes made in the 69th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Beto Braga. In the 71st minute Marcelo Cordero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dagoberto Loureiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 73 minutes into the match, Marcelo Cordero notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Cöpacabana FC's Dagoberto Loureiro. Dagoberto Loureiro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 81 minutes into the match, Dobromir Brudnicki dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Dražen Ladić, 1-1. Dražen Ladić showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stig-Åke Benet, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. 88 minutes into the match, Cöpacabana FC's goal looked a bit too open when Marcelo Cordero came free, but Dagoberto Loureiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 91 minutes Cöpacabana FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Cristobal Polo who took care of the corner kick. Marcelo Cordero's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dagoberto Loureiro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 94th minute of play. 95 minutes into the game, Stig-Åke Benet recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Dražen Ladić. Stig-Åke Benet showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. The Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Cöpacabana FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Cöpacabana FC.
