Faustão de Moraes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cícero da Costa in the 6th minute of play. Roberto Romário's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Melquiades Amor read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. A collision led to CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Robert Bambas hit a great ball. The corner ended in Yanniek Van Laeck almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's Melquiades Amor did a great save. In the 29th minute Edmond Boureau shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Melquiades Amor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 30th minute Ciseski‘s were awarded a corner. Yanniek Van Laeck went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Yanniek Van Laeck got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Melquiades Amor quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Melquiades Amor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roberto Romário in the 32nd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edmond Boureau in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Melquiades Amor prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Du hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. In the 43rd minute of the match Yanniek Van Laeck shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Melquiades Amor showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's Melquiades Amor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roberto Romário in the 45th minute of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Cícero da Costa made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Ciseski‘s's Roberto Romário dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-1. After a rather tough play, Ciseski‘s's Hernani Palmeira got a free kick in the 56th minute. A hard shot 59 in the game by Roberto Romário from a close distance when the talented Melquiades Amor managed to make a qualified save. CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's players were relieved. In the 60th minute Ciseski‘s were awarded a corner. Yanniek Van Laeck went to the cornerflag to take it. Du tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Melquiades Amor. An unnecessary self made goal, 0-2 in the 60th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Roberto Romário in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Melquiades Amor saved CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA from getting behind. Melquiades Amor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmond Boureau in the 70th minute of play. Melquiades Amor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roberto Romário, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 84 played minutes Ciseski‘s got a freekick which was hit by Roberto Romário. When Facundo Guerrero fell near the penalty area in the 89th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's protests and gave Facundo Guerrero a yellow card for diving instead. In the 89th minute, Facundo Guerrero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Cícero da Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Melquiades Amor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roberto Romário in the 96th minute of the match. The CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Ciseski‘s's performance. The match ended with a win for Ciseski‘s.
