In the 7th minute Benjamin Ülger shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Łukasz Fabiański saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cesar Tartales hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. With an all-out effort, PomeziaRamblers's Łukasz Fabiański threw himself towards the right post 15 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Bruno Scibilia, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After a defensive mix-up in PomeziaRamblers's zone, Marco Zust stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Claus Himschoot came out of the goal and Marco Zust tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Freddie Ljungberg got free with Łukasz Fabiański in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Claus Himschoot showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sánchez Castruita in the 24th minute of the match. Claus Himschoot showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sánchez Castruita, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Łukasz Fabiański tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 36 minutes into the match, Azulgranas's Sánchez Castruita sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Claus Himschoot narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Claus Himschoot showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marco Zust, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Claus Himschoot came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Azulgranas's Marco Zust. But to his dismay, Marco Zust quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. An unexpected shot in the 43rd minute by Kuido Suursaar got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Łukasz Fabiański made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Kuido Suursaar sent off a good shot on target. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Łukasz Fabiański stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kuido Suursaar's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. When Freddie Ljungberg came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the PomeziaRamblers fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Freddie Ljungberg couldn't finish the play. After 77 played minutes Azulgranas got a freekick which was hit by Ulises Terroba. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kuido Suursaar in the 78th minute of play forced Azulgranas's goalkeeper Łukasz Fabiański to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Łukasz Fabiański took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kuido Suursaar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Azulgranas booed when PomeziaRamblers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Freddie Ljungberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kuido Suursaar took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Łukasz Fabiański. Łukasz Fabiański dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Azulgranas's Łukasz Fabiański played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bruno Scibilia in the 92nd minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. PomeziaRamblers had won after a very even match.
