After a defensive mix-up in Pogoń Stawiszyn's zone, Peycho Zvezdanov stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gilbert Podolski came out of the goal and Peycho Zvezdanov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
