The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A very good chance. 11 minutes into the match, Flatline Zombies's goalkeeper Armağan Mukremin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ruben Salvator. The audience was convinced that Paulo Seco's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ubaldo Matildo Fillol was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. In the 16th match minute, Flatline Zombies was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jan Trierweiler to maneuver through the defense. In the 21st minute of the match, Ruben Salvator got a very nice opportunity to score, but Armağan Mukremin was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 24 minutes into the game, Ruben Salvator recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Armağan Mukremin. Ruben Salvator showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Ubaldo Matildo Fillol took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Levent Erkinay, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Armağan Mukremin made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Ruben Salvator sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Levent Erkinay in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ubaldo Matildo Fillol prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Armağan Mukremin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ruben Salvator in the 38th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Paulo Seco was the one to do the kick off. Liborius Müllers short, quick shot in the 52ndth minute got Ubaldo Matildo Fillol to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 55 minutes into the match, Ruben Salvator had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Armağan Mukremin. Flatline Zombies's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ruben Salvator was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. In the 67thth minute of the game Paulo Seco who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but A. Korn's Ubaldo Matildo Fillol was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Armağan Mukremin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ruben Salvator in the 68th minute of play. 68 minutes into the match, Ruben Salvator had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Armağan Mukremin. In the 80th minute Leon Kalb shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ubaldo Matildo Fillol saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Armağan Mukremin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ruben Salvator in the 81st minute of the match.
