Laçın Cumayev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cordeiro Olmedo in the 4th minute of the match. After 6 played minutes C.F.CRESPOS CITY got a freekick which was hit by Gerrit Alberda. 8 minutes into the game, Pipis Dilberis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Braga's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave C.F.CRESPOS CITY the free kick. In the 8th minute, Pipis Dilberis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of C.F.CRESPOS CITY booed when SC Braga was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pipis Dilberis didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 12 played minutes SC Braga got a freekick which was hit by Jon-Egil Sætre. Elivareo Casals scored 0-1 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Laçın Cumayev, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Laçın Cumayev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mino Mangas in the 17th minute of play. In the 19th minute Zigmantas Gimbutas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zuriko Gil saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Felix Rey kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. When Elivareo Casals came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the C.F.CRESPOS CITY fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Elivareo Casals couldn't finish the play. Laçın Cumayev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mino Mangas in the 28th minute of the match. SC Braga's Zigmantas Gimbutas got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Zigmantas Gimbutas might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Zuriko Gil. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Zigmantas Gimbutas ran back to his position shaking his head. C.F.CRESPOS CITY's Zuriko Gil proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save C.F.CRESPOS CITY from getting a goal against them. After 35 minutes SC Braga's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Amaro Paz who took care of the corner kick. C.F.CRESPOS CITY's Amaro Paz was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Laçın Cumayev in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Sandu Cosariu got a throw-in 36 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Elivareo Casals. Laçın Cumayev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gerrit Alberda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The corner ended in Gerrit Alberda almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but SC Braga's Laçın Cumayev did a great save. Zigmantas Gimbutas struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Zuriko Gil didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Braga. In the 48th minute, Elivareo Casals left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The C.F.CRESPOS CITY fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mino Mangas was the one to do the kick off. Zuriko Gil showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zigmantas Gimbutas, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Zuriko Gil showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zigmantas Gimbutas in the 58th minute of the match. Mino Mangas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Laçın Cumayev tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Gerrit Alberda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. SC Braga made a substitution. Geraldo Lucas replaced André Jordão. In the 64th minute Zigmantas Gimbutas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zuriko Gil saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 70 minutes into the game, Zigmantas Gimbutas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Zuriko Gil was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. SC Braga's Antonio Cieri was substituted for Benjamin de Lara. SC Braga's Stig-Åke Mattsson was substituted for Zigmantas Gimbutas. Mino Mangas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Laçın Cumayev made a huge save. In the 87th minute, Felix Rey hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of C.F.CRESPOS CITY booed when SC Braga was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pipis Dilberis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Laçın Cumayev made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mino Mangas in the 96th minute. The SC Braga fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. C.F.CRESPOS CITY were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
