Candakausika von Buol-Schaudenstein made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Pepillo Servin sent off a good shot on target. If Til Wolfram had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pryaporets's Candakausika von Buol-Schaudenstein played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oriol Loyola in the 21st minute of play. Pryaporets's Candakausika von Buol-Schaudenstein proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Pryaporets from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Pryaporets getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Sten Svanström hit a great ball. Pryaporets's Candakausika von Buol-Schaudenstein played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oriol Loyola in the 25th minute of play. 29 minutes into the match, Leones FC's goal looked a bit too open when Til Wolfram came free, but Alfonso Villamarin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 42 minutes, Yu Lin Lang mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pryaporets and the Leones FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Pryaporets's Yu Lin Lang got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Frances Muelas made in the 46th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which García Galego however managed to control.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Pepillo Servin to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Leones FC's Oriol Loyola got a free kick in the 52nd minute. In the 59th minute, Urtats Figueruel made a precise shot to the right of Candakausika von Buol-Schaudenstein. Pryaporets's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Candakausika von Buol-Schaudenstein showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pepillo Servin in the 64th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Leones FC defense, Song Di Xu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alfonso Villamarin. The Leones FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alfonso Villamarin should have stopped the shot. Pryaporets's Stamen Kirchev was substituted for Til Wolfram. Song Di Xu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfonso Villamarin having to interfere. 87 minutes into the match, Leones FC's goalkeeper Alfonso Villamarin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Song Di Xu. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oriol Loyola in the 88th minute of play forced Pryaporets's goalkeeper Candakausika von Buol-Schaudenstein to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
