Malin Karolev could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Eustacio Misael made a huge save. Eustacio Misael made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Raphael Paraense sent off a good shot on target. Jan Figlewski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nazil Canay, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Raphael Paraense's late challenge caught a Guns And Roses's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Raphael Paraense helped the player get up and apologised. Raphael Paraense kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. After 45 played minutes Guns And Roses got a freekick which was hit by Lucio Quilo. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lukas Podolski to make the kick off.
