Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Charly Rusterholz started the match with the kick off. Orestis Lazarou made a fantastic save in the 3rd minute, when Abdulkerim Türköne sent off a good shot on target. In the 5th minute the ball was on its way in behind Rondo's goalkeeper Orestis Lazarou, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Abdulkerim Türköne got free with Orestis Lazarou in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A nice corner shot did that Herbert Holmgren got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Orestis Lazarou quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 10 played minutes Rondo got a freekick which was hit by Olof Huizinga. The audience thought a goal was coming when Abdulkerim Türköne got free with Orestis Lazarou in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Abdulkerim Türköne struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Orestis Lazarou didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ipswich Traktor Boys. The corner ended in Herbert Holmgren almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Rondo's Orestis Lazarou did a great save. A collision led to Rondo getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Dirk-Jan Knuppel hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Abdulkerim Türköne managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ipswich Traktor Boys's supporters rose to their feet, but Abdulkerim Türköne was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Orestis Lazarou breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Arnout Arends took the ball and in the 29 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marcos Basso. Marcos Basso dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. If Abdulkerim Türköne had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Abdulkerim Türköne in the 34thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Orestis Lazarou, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Rondo's Orestis Lazarou played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abdulkerim Türköne in the 37th minute of play. Abdulkerim Türköne succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-1 in the 41st playminute.

The wind increased when Abdulkerim Türköne made the kick off in the second half. Rondo's Orestis Lazarou played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abdulkerim Türköne in the 51st minute of play. Ipswich Traktor Boys's Marcos Basso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Charly Rusterholz in the 61st minute of play. After 63 minutes Ipswich Traktor Boys's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Rick de Zee who took care of the corner kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Herbert Holmgren in the 67th minute of play forced Rondo's goalkeeper Orestis Lazarou to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ipswich Traktor Boys's Torgny Söderström was substituted for Slawomir Cisek. Ipswich Traktor Boys's Rasmus Bark was substituted for Pawel Gibowski. Niklas Lundqvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Orestis Lazarou having to interfere. Niklas Lundqvist might have been able to make a better finish in the 78th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Orestis Lazarou. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Niklas Lundqvist ran back to his position shaking his head. Niklas Lundqvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Orestis Lazarou tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Orestis Lazarou showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Niklas Lundqvist in the 86th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Niklas Lundqvist in the 88th minute of play forced Rondo's goalkeeper Orestis Lazarou to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Niklas Lundqvist might have been able to make a better finish in the 89th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Orestis Lazarou. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Niklas Lundqvist ran back to his position shaking his head. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Herbert Holmgren during the 95th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When the referee ended the match the Ipswich Traktor Boys players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
