Spectators: 47 (Terracing: 36, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Argentina's Benedicto Naelio got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 22 minutes into the match, Argentina's goal looked a bit too open when Cleto Firmin came free, but Lev Yashin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cleto Firmin in the 27th minute of play forced Argentina's goalkeeper Lev Yashin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Benedicto Naelio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 31 minutes into the match, Lagrima en Jarrita's goalkeeper Loco Malo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Benedicto Naelio. A collision led to Lagrima en Jarrita getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Olgierd Karanowski hit a great ball. After having played for 35 minutes, Ricardo Chepe managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Argentina's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ricardo Chepe was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Benedicto Naelio received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Loco Malo came out and tried to block the shot, but Benedicto Naelio slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 37th minute. The audience was convinced that Filiberto Nisio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lev Yashin was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. In the 44th minute Filiberto Nisio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lev Yashin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Benedicto Naelio was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Lagrima en Jarrita's Domingos Gaitan got a free kick in the 51st minute. In the 53rd minute, Edinho Baresi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Loco Malo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benedicto Naelio in the 53rd minute of play. When Domingos Gaitan fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lagrima en Jarrita's protests and gave Domingos Gaitan a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Argentina booed when Lagrima en Jarrita was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Domingos Gaitan didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Teodosio Figueroa got free with Lev Yashin in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Teodosio Figueroa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Argentina's Armando Felipillo was substituted for Seb Gentiletti. Ezequiel Abecia struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Loco Malo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Argentina. Argentina's Baba Moco was substituted for Benedicto Naelio. Loco Malo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paolo-César Maldini in the 66th minute of the match. Loco Malo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ezequiel Abecia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kong Hao Xi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lev Yashin having to make a save. Baba Moco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 84th minute, Leonello Messias made a precise shot to the right of Lev Yashin. Argentina's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Loco Malo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ezequiel Abecia in the 87th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ezequiel Abecia in the 90th minute of play forced Lagrima en Jarrita's goalkeeper Loco Malo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Filiberto Nisio during the 91st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 92nd minute of the match Armando Felipillo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Loco Malo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Loco Malo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ezequiel Abecia's shot from short distance in the 94th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baba Moco in the 95th minute of play forced Lagrima en Jarrita's goalkeeper Loco Malo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lagrima en Jarrita's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
