In the 2nd minute, Jonas Batista hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Martelli City Club defense, Miroslav Klose kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Valdo Vabamüürlane. The Martelli City Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Valdo Vabamüürlane should have stopped the shot. Valdo Vabamüürlane took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miroslav Klose, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 18 played minutes Ilídio Abrantes scored with a long sweeping shot just to the left of Valdo Vabamüürlane who was too lazy, 2-0. In the 22nd minute, Miroslav Klose made a precise shot to the right of Valdo Vabamüürlane. Martelli City Club's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. In the 25th minute Generoso Esquipula shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kristopher Johnson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, QUINTA DAS LUZES F.C.'s Bernardo Simões got a free kick in the 26th minute. 29 minutes into the game, QUINTA DAS LUZES F.C.'s Miroslav Klose nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Valdo Vabamüürlane made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Valdo Vabamüürlane made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miroslav Klose in the 32nd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Miroslav Klose in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Valdo Vabamüürlane saved Martelli City Club from getting behind. 34 minutes into the game, Miroslav Klose lined in a short shot 5-0 behind a frustrated Valdo Vabamüürlane. The corner led QUINTA DAS LUZES F.C.'s Bernardo Simões to fire away a dangerous shot which Valdo Vabamüürlane despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Miguel Luix recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 43 minutes, Horacio Ospetsu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Martelli City Club and the QUINTA DAS LUZES F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Martelli City Club fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 43rd minute. Penalty! The goalkeeper, Valdo Vabamüürlane, was totally fooled by QUINTA DAS LUZES F.C.'s Ilídio Abrantes, who 45 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 6-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Miroslav Klose was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute, Miroslav Klose ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Valdo Vabamüürlane was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. In the 54th minute, Aleksey Denisov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fabiano Medeiros hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. After 65 minutes, Miroslav Klose made it 8-0 with a short kick to the right side. Martelli City Club's Valdo Vabamüürlane tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Valdo Vabamüürlane didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Miroslav Klose went, in the 69th minute, to the upper right corner, 9-0 was the resulting score. If Miroslav Klose had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Valdo Vabamüürlane made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miroslav Klose in the 77th minute of play. Fabiano Medeiros kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. QUINTA DAS LUZES F.C.'s José Guimarães was substituted for Gigel Durbac. A collision led to QUINTA DAS LUZES F.C. getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Fabiano Medeiros hit a great ball. Kristopher Johnson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miguel Luix, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Valdo Vabamüürlane took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miroslav Klose, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 87th minute the ball was on its way in behind Martelli City Club's goalkeeper Valdo Vabamüürlane, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Martelli City Club's Florencio Tonete in the 90th minute got a chance for a shot 90th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye QUINTA DAS LUZES F.C.'s goalie prevented a goal. 95 minutes into the match, QUINTA DAS LUZES F.C.'s goalkeeper Kristopher Johnson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Florencio Tonete. QUINTA DAS LUZES F.C.'s fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
