In the 4th play minute Qarabulud La Forgia came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Nilson Tinoco. 1-0. With an all-out effort, Palmeiras's Nilson Tinoco threw himself towards the right post 6 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Luke Clist, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Nilson Tinoco made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Qarabulud La Forgia sent off a good shot on target. Qarabulud La Forgias short, quick shot in the 14thth minute got Nilson Tinoco to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 16th minute, Palmeiras's Luke Clist ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Nilson Tinoco. Nilson Tinoco yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lauro Zanette during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Campeche FC's Lauro Zanette got a free kick in the 19th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lauro Zanette in the 22nd minute of play forced Palmeiras's goalkeeper Régis de Queirós to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonardo Donato in the 30th minute of play forced Campeche FC's goalkeeper Nilson Tinoco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nilson Tinoco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luke Clist in the 31st minute of the match. Nilson Tinoco came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Palmeiras's Qarabulud La Forgia. But to his dismay, Qarabulud La Forgia quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. Daniel Sá received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Régis de Queirós tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 39th match minute, Campeche FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by José Paulo Romero to maneuver through the defense. In the 39th minute of the match Valdir Lopes shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nilson Tinoco showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 42 minutes into the game, Palmeiras's Leonardo Donato nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nilson Tinoco made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. In the 45th minute, Luke Clist reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Nilson Tinoco. The goal made the score 7-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 7-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lauro Zanette stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Qarabulud La Forgia struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Nilson Tinoco didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Palmeiras. When Luke Clist came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Palmeiras fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luke Clist couldn't finish the play. After 57 played minutes Campeche FC got a freekick which was hit by Lauro Galvão. Nilson Tinoco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luke Clist in the 58th minute of play. Nilson Tinoco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Qarabulud La Forgia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Campeche FC's Nilson Tinoco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valdir Lopes in the 75th minute of play. Campeche FC's Nilson Tinoco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luke Clist in the 85th minute of play. In the 87th minute, Qarabulud La Forgia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 88 played minutes Campeche FC got a freekick which was hit by Guga Seco. After 89 minutes of play, Palmeiras's Qarabulud La Forgia made it 12-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nilson Tinoco was left in no man's land by his defense there! 93 minutes into the match, Leonardo Donato had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nilson Tinoco. Campeche FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Leonardo Donato was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 13-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Palmeiras fully deserved thier win.
