Serafino Pancho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Martin Minchev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Carmelo Tiniebra got free with Fabrício Falcão in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 15th minute of the match, Rafael Ramos tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Fabrício Falcão saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 15 minutes into the game, Fadil Çarçani was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Jurupeba FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Santa Fe the free kick. With a little luck, Jurupeba FC's Fabrício Falcão got control of the ball when Rafael Ramos tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 24th minute, Beto Breckenfeld ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Serafino Pancho was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Juan Fernando Pratto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fabrício Falcão read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. The corner led Santa Fe's Steve Rogers to fire away a dangerous shot which Fabrício Falcão despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The referee felt a red card was in order, 39 minutes into the game, when Akheloos Moundalexakis put in a rough tackle. Steve Rogers recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Jurupeba FC's Yahya Al Bahar got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Fabrício Falcão stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Carmelo Tiniebra's shot from short distance in the 46th minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Carmelo Tiniebra to strike the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Carmelo Tiniebra in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fabrício Falcão prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Santa Fe's Luis María Guadalupe got a free kick in the 52nd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Thorkil Husig managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jurupeba FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Thorkil Husig was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Serafino Pancho breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jurupeba FC's Fabrício Falcão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carmelo Tiniebra in the 57th minute of play. Jurupeba FC made a substitution. Neymar Junior replaced Evlogi Dzhumayski. In the 63rdth minute of the game Carmelo Tiniebra who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Jurupeba FC's Fabrício Falcão was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Santa Fe booed when Jurupeba FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Beto Breckenfeld didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 67th minute, Juan Fernando Pratto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice moves Beto Breckenfeld could shoot a difficult shot in the 74th minute, which Serafino Pancho however easily saved by the left post. In the 74th minute, Luis María Guadalupe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 79th match minute, Jurupeba FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Martin Minchev to maneuver through the defense. Santa Fe's Serafino Pancho proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Santa Fe from getting a goal against them. 87 minutes into the match, Santa Fe's goal looked a bit too open when Fadil Çarçani came free, but Serafino Pancho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Beto Breckenfeld came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Jurupeba FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Beto Breckenfeld couldn't finish the play. Beto Breckenfeld took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Serafino Pancho. Serafino Pancho dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. The Jurupeba FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
