Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Roger Bannister in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Napoleon Dziedelonis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Peruanton Tamayo in the 5th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Joel Bertol saved Rayland FC from getting behind. In the 7thth minute of the game Peruanton Tamayo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rayland FC's Joel Bertol was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Peruanton Tamayo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Joel Bertol was relentless in the 9th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Peruanton Tamayo in the 12th minute of play forced Rayland FC's goalkeeper Joel Bertol to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 14 minutes into the match, FERRABARCA FC's goal looked a bit too open when Endrick de Souza came free, but Napoleon Dziedelonis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Napoleon Dziedelonis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roger Bannister in the 14th minute of the match. Frank Taglieri got a throw-in 15 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Frederic Ramm. Roger Bannister received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Napoleon Dziedelonis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Peruanton Tamayo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Joel Bertol took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Peruanton Tamayo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Peruanton Tamayo in the 21st minute of play forced Rayland FC's goalkeeper Joel Bertol to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rayland FC's Joel Bertol played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Peruanton Tamayo in the 27th minute of play. The Rayland FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Joel Bertol should have stopped the shot. Joel Bertol stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Peruanton Tamayo's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. FERRABARCA FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Andrew Robertson in the 34th minute. In the 34thth minute of the game Peruanton Tamayo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rayland FC's Joel Bertol was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 36th minute Peruanton Tamayo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joel Bertol saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 37 minutes into the game, Roger Bannister recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Napoleon Dziedelonis. Roger Bannister showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. In the 44th minute Frederic Ramm shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Napoleon Dziedelonis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 46 minutes into the match, FERRABARCA FC's goal looked a bit too open when Leszek Sidor came free, but Napoleon Dziedelonis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

FERRABARCA FC's Andrew Robertson quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Frederic Ramm, made in the 56th minute of the game. Sixto Luix could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Joel Bertol made a huge save. In the 61st minute of the match FERRABARCA FC got a corner. Rayland FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Andrew Robertson ran over to the corner to take the kick. Napoleon Dziedelonis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roger Bannister, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. FERRABARCA FC's Napoleon Dziedelonis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leszek Sidor in the 67th minute of play. FERRABARCA FC's Marcial Kusko got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Marcial Kusko took the ball and in the 95 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Joel Bertol. Joel Bertol dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. The FERRABARCA FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing FERRABARCA FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
