Douglas Tande was slow to take the kick. During this time Austra 04 VFC's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Austra 04 VFC's Yaroslav Lyubar to fire away a dangerous shot which Remigio Valerón despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 12 minutes into the game, Yaroslav Lyubar cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Remigio Valerón was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Hudson Gaúcho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julio Alacuart, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. A collision led to Austra 04 VFC getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Sócrates Silva hit a great ball. Beila Mora struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Remigio Valerón didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Austra 04 VFC. 26 minutes into the match, ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO's goalkeeper Remigio Valerón had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Beila Mora. Remigio Valerón was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Beila Mora showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 34 minute of play. In the 38thth minute of the game Wellington Pires who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO's Remigio Valerón was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Sócrates Silva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Austra 04 VFC booed when ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Taurino Losantos didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 43rd minute, Beila Mora ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Remigio Valerón was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. 46 minutes into the match, ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO's goal looked a bit too open when Beila Mora came free, but Remigio Valerón reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Wellington Pires was the one to do the kick off. Austra 04 VFC's Hudson Gaúcho proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to save Austra 04 VFC from getting a goal against them. Remigio Valerón didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Wellington Pires went, in the 53rd minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. In the 59th minute Beila Mora shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Remigio Valerón saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 63 played minutes ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO got a freekick which was hit by Jakes Vila. Remigio Valerón showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Beila Mora in the 64th minute of the match. Wellington Pires received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Remigio Valerón tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO made a substitution. Guido Escobar replaced Jakes Vila. Rey Northe hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wellington Pires in the 69th minute of play forced ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO's goalkeeper Remigio Valerón to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 70 minutes into the match, ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO's Laerte Favoretto sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hudson Gaúcho narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Guido Escobar in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hudson Gaúcho prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO fans' excitement grew in the 74th match minute when ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO's Guido Escobar looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 77th minute Wellington Pires shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Remigio Valerón saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 80th minute of the match Zachary Madej sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Remigio Valerón skillfully saved the ball. 81 minutes into the match, ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO's goal looked a bit too open when Wellington Pires came free, but Remigio Valerón reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Remigio Valerón showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wellington Pires in the 83rd minute of the match. After 85 minutes ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Douglas Tande who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Douglas Tande almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO's Remigio Valerón did a great save. After 87 minutes of play, Austra 04 VFC's Wellington Pires made it 5-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Remigio Valerón was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the match had gone on for 90 minutes, Guido Escobar took a quick shot and it went in 5-2 without a chance for Hudson Gaúcho to make any attempt to save it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wellington Pires in the 95th minute of play forced ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO's goalkeeper Remigio Valerón to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Austra 04 VFC had won after a very even match.
