After a defensive mix-up in FC Gdansk36's zone, Cecilio Mirande stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adam Matysek came out of the goal and Cecilio Mirande tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Adam Matysek made an important save on a dangerous shot by Guido Olentzaro in the 9th minute. Grütly's Epifanio Boniel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Piotr Kozlowski in the 14th minute of play. 18 minutes into the match, Tadeo Frichoso notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of FC Gdansk36's Adam Matysek. Adam Matysek was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 21st minute Jan Olisadebe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Epifanio Boniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 22 minutes, Alejandro Marin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Grütly and the FC Gdansk36 players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 22 played minutes Grütly got a freekick which was hit by Alejandro Marin. Grütly's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Guido Olentzaro in the 26th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Piotr Kozlowski in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Epifanio Boniel saved Grütly from getting behind. In the 31st minute, Levente Tunyogi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tadeo Frichoso could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Adam Matysek made a huge save. In the 34th minute Tadeo Frichoso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adam Matysek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 40 played minutes FC Gdansk36 got a freekick which was hit by Witomir Perkowski. In the 41st minute, Guido Olentzaro sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and FC Gdansk36's Adam Matysek didn't even have to move.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tadeo Frichoso made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cecilio Mirande in the 57th minute of play forced FC Gdansk36's goalkeeper Adam Matysek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Grütly's Epifanio Boniel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iggi Kot in the 58th minute of play. Adam Matysek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cecilio Mirande in the 60th minute of play. Esteve Selmo hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Grütly's Epifanio Boniel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save Grütly from getting a goal against them. Piotr Kozlowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Grütly made a substitution. Feliberto Batista replaced Tadeo Frichoso. Adam Matysek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Feliberto Batista in the 74th minute of the match. Adam Matysek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Feliberto Batista in the 77th minute of play. Epifanio Boniel made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Bartlomiej Chmelyk sent off a good shot on target. In the 89th minute Fidel Gomesano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adam Matysek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 90 minutes into the game, Cecilio Mirande cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Adam Matysek was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Grütly had won after a very even match.
