Koit Vaikma didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Angelino Clemencin went, in the 9th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. 13 minutes into the match, Vila's goal looked a bit too open when Angelino Clemencin came free, but Koit Vaikma reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulo Pierres in the 15th minute of play forced Vila's goalkeeper Koit Vaikma to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Olari Kabral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Koit Vaikma showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulo Pierres, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. 24 minutes into the match, Vila's goal looked a bit too open when Melquiades Librado came free, but Koit Vaikma reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 42nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Vila's goalkeeper Koit Vaikma, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dido Gorolomov in the 47th minute of play forced Guanacos's goalkeeper Marcial Orlandus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dido Gorolomov succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-2 in the 47th playminute. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
The wind increased when Dido Gorolomov made the kick off in the second half. Vila's Koit Vaikma played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Melquiades Librado in the 62nd minute of play. 63 minutes into the match, Vila's goal looked a bit too open when Melquiades Librado came free, but Koit Vaikma reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marcial Orlandus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Durvalino Vinhas in the 88th minute of play. Ibon Morcego hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. When Amadeo Nabar came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Guanacos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Amadeo Nabar couldn't finish the play. Through an outstanding action, after 93 minutes, Koit Vaikma successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Koit Vaikma showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulo Pierres in the 95th minute of the match. If Peep Raamets had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Guanacos supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Guanacos would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
