With an all-out effort, Botev Plovdiv 1912's Adriano De Carolis threw himself towards the right post 45 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Di Kun, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 46thth minute of the game Bartlomiej Rybak who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Botev Plovdiv 1912's Christian Bale was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

A collision led to Botev Plovdiv 1912 getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Przemyslaw Trynda hit a great ball. Rosendo Rios could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Christian Bale made a huge save. After 81 minutes Botev Plovdiv 1912's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Franciszek Lerych who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Tiburones Machos's corner Gabriel Diegotxe fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Christian Bale quite easily take care of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Przemyslaw Trynda in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Adriano De Carolis saved Tiburones Machos from getting behind. In the 86th minute Kajetan Daszkowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adriano De Carolis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 89th minute Di Kun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adriano De Carolis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adriano De Carolis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Paul Romeo's shot from short distance in the 91st minute. Botev Plovdiv 1912's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
