Luiz Paulo Mazza didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Guilherme Souza went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. After a defensive mix-up in U21 Brazil's zone, Tadeu Zonta stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gigio Buffon came out of the goal and Tadeu Zonta tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gigio Buffon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tadeu Zonta in the 44th minute of play. In the 46thth minute of the game 詹俊 á Bø who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but U21 Brazil's Gigio Buffon was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Wellington Phoenix's 詹俊 á Bø in the 46th minute got a chance for a shot 46th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
