If Doron Bantz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a little luck, Pesqueira City's Mădălin Lunca got control of the ball when Emanuel Olisadebe tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Emanuel Olisadebe managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ricart Futebol Clube's supporters rose to their feet, but Emanuel Olisadebe was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mădălin Lunca breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Andres Ekhi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benjamin da Fonseca in the 8th minute of play. 13 minutes into the match, Benjamin da Fonseca notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Ricart Futebol Clube's Andres Ekhi. Andres Ekhi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Andres Ekhi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benjamin da Fonseca in the 16th minute of play. 16 minutes in the game, Benjamin da Fonseca dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Doron Bantz did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-1 to the left of a surprised Mădălin Lunca 19 minutes into the match. 26 minutes into the match, Ricart Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Benjamin da Fonseca came free, but Andres Ekhi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 28 minutes Ricart Futebol Clube's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ionuț Iniesta who took care of the corner kick. Pesqueira City's Ionuț Iniesta was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Andres Ekhi in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Pesqueira City's Mădălin Lunca proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Pesqueira City from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sebastião Quintal in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Andres Ekhi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Doron Bantz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mădălin Lunca having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Abel Ramalho to strike the kick off in the second half. Pesqueira City's Mădălin Lunca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emanuel Olisadebe in the 51st minute of play. Mădălin Lunca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emanuel Olisadebe in the 56th minute of play. 60 minutes into the match, Ricart Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Benjamin da Fonseca came free, but Andres Ekhi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mădălin Lunca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abel Ramalho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 65 minutes into the match, Ricart Futebol Clube's Emanuel Olisadebe sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mădălin Lunca narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Andres Ekhi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benjamin da Fonseca, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Sebastião Quintal came free with the goalkeeper in the 72nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Andres Ekhi could save by the left post. Pesqueira City's Cristiano Bezerra was substituted for Ştefan Frunză. Pesqueira City made a substitution. Josué Vaz replaced Sebastião Quintal. Ricart Futebol Clube's Andres Ekhi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benjamin da Fonseca in the 76th minute of play. In the 78th minute Emanuel Olisadebe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mădălin Lunca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 83 minutes into the game, Benjamin da Fonseca cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Andres Ekhi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Mădălin Lunca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emanuel Olisadebe in the 87th minute of play. Andres Ekhi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benjamin da Fonseca in the 89th minute of the match. Mădălin Lunca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eusebio Hori, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Benjamin da Fonseca scored 2-3 in the 92nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Andres Ekhi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Mădălin Lunca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eusebio Hori in the 95th minute of play. The Pesqueira City supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Pesqueira City would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
