The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Gil Todd made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ernst Skog in the 4th minute of play. Keeghan Duggan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 9th minute, Ernst Skog made a precise shot to the right of Gil Todd. Ballyvoneen Utd's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. 18 minutes into the match, Svennis Grabbar FF's goal looked a bit too open when Keeghan Duggan came free, but Robin Nyström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 20 minutes into the match, Ballyvoneen Utd's goalkeeper Gil Todd had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Manoel Furlan. A collision led to Svennis Grabbar FF getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Per-Olof Eklund hit a great ball. Robin Nyström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Keeghan Duggan, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. In the 24th minute, Kerrigan Frankson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as Svennis Grabbar FF's Antônio Carlos Tasso slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Gil Todd. That made the score 2-0 after 25 minutes of play. Keeghan Duggan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Robin Nyström read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. A collision led to Ballyvoneen Utd getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Rorke McBjarton hit a great ball. After 35 played minutes Ballyvoneen Utd got a freekick which was hit by Brenan McOliver. Gil Todd made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Manoel Furlan sent off a good shot on target. 41 minutes into the match, Ballyvoneen Utd's goal looked a bit too open when Antônio Carlos Tasso came free, but Gil Todd reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 42nd match minute, Svennis Grabbar FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniel Svensson to maneuver through the defense. If Keeghan Duggan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gil Todd showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antônio Carlos Tasso, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. After having played for 47 minutes, Ernst Skog managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Svennis Grabbar FF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ernst Skog was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Manoel Furlan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Manoel Furlan notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Ballyvoneen Utd's Gil Todd. Gil Todd was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the match clock showed 55 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Antônio Carlos Tasso sped through Ballyvoneen Utd's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Gil Todd. In the 69th minute Manoel Furlan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gil Todd saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gil Todd showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manoel Furlan in the 71st minute of the match. Gil Todd didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ernst Skog went, in the 72nd minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. 75 minutes into the match, Ballyvoneen Utd's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Svensson came free, but Gil Todd reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Antônio Carlos Tasso blasted a shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gil Todd having to make a save. Gil Todd made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manoel Furlan in the 80th minute of play. In the 82nd minute, Bragain Glen Crowe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Svennis Grabbar FF booed when Ballyvoneen Utd was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bragain Glen Crowe didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gil Todd didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Antônio Carlos Tasso went, in the 89th minute, to the upper right corner, 8-0 was the resulting score. 92 minutes into the match, Ballyvoneen Utd's goal looked a bit too open when Manoel Furlan came free, but Gil Todd reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Svennis Grabbar FF's Per-Olof Eklund got a free kick in the 93rd minute.

There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Svennis Grabbar FF fully deserved thier win.
