The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Oğuzhan Er showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jan Rein van Loo in the 3rd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, ASC Amsterdam's Vasile Ştefănuţ got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Chucho Benitez blasted a shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mazhar Uğurata having to make a save. The audience was convinced that Karol Teofila's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mazhar Uğurata was relentless in the 7th minute of the game. Oğuzhan Er showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from William Raynard in the 9th minute of the match. Mazhar Uğurata made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karol Teofila in the 10th minute of play. Oğuzhan Er took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from William Raynard, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ivor Sadler to make the kick off. Oğuzhan Er didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ivor Sadler went, in the 51st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Oğuzhan Er showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jan Rein van Loo, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. The supporters of ASC Amsterdam booed when ÇAN SPOR was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marnix van Nieuwstadt during the 71st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 74th minute of the match, Karol Teofila tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Mazhar Uğurata saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. A throw-in in the 87th minute of the game was made by Marnix van Nieuwstadt with Claudinho do Vale as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. In the 89th match minute, ASC Amsterdam was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marc Evers to maneuver through the defense. Alparslan Ruhsat was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 90th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Tolgahan Üçok kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, ÇAN SPOR's Karol Teofila got a free kick in the 94th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ivor Sadler in the 96th minute of play forced ÇAN SPOR's goalkeeper Oğuzhan Er to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The score was 2-2 after 90 minutes, which forced the match into extra-time.

After the break the players went out on the field to play the first half of overtime with revived energy in their legs. ÇAN SPOR's Ye Yang started the play with the initial kick off. In the 99th minute, Ivor Sadler fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Oğuzhan Er, passed just outside the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ye Yang in the 101st minute of play forced ASC Amsterdam's goalkeeper Mazhar Uğurata to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. William Raynard blasted a shot towards the goal in the 103rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Oğuzhan Er having to make a save. Mazhar Uğurata showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ye Yang, who was totally free with the ball in the 106th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ye Yang in the 109th minute of play forced ASC Amsterdam's goalkeeper Mazhar Uğurata to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The first half of extra-time was a real thriller. Both teams had created chances, but they were still tied when the whistle blew. The players were able to take a short breather during the short break.

The players still looked rather fresh even though it was time for second half of the overtime. Ivor Sadler did a quick kick off. Marnix van Nieuwstadt made in the 121st minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Claudinho do Vale however managed to control. After a defensive mix-up in ASC Amsterdam's zone, Karol Teofila stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mazhar Uğurata came out of the goal and Karol Teofila tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mazhar Uğurata came out of the goal in the 127th minute to try and stop a shot by ÇAN SPOR's Ye Yang. But to his dismay, Ye Yang quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3.
