A collision led to Império Futebol Clube getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Jerônimo Varela hit a great ball. After having played for 36 minutes, 肖钢超 managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hellas Verona's supporters crossed their fingers, but 肖钢超 was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 宋夕凡's late challenge caught a Império Futebol Clube's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. 宋夕凡 helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Hellas Verona's 宋夕凡 got a free kick in the 38th minute. 郝博寒 recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Hellas Verona's 于轩钢 in the 45th minute got a chance for a shot 45th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Império Futebol Clube's goalie prevented a goal. The Império Futebol Clube players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Hellas Verona were winning 0-2.

The wind increased when Faustão Félix made the kick off in the second half. In the 54th match minute, Império Futebol Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Olívio Cerezo to maneuver through the defense. Gugu Barreto was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 67th minute, 傅梁渊 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 肖钢超 received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Gugu Barreto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Império Futebol Clube's Gugu Barreto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 郝博寒 in the 70th minute of play. Gugu Barreto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 鲁升晨 in the 76th minute of play. 郝博寒 struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Gugu Barreto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hellas Verona. A beautiful save bye Império Futebol Clube's goalie prevented a goal. If Faustão Félix had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

When the match was over Hellas Verona could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Império Futebol Clube throughout the match.
