AS Monaco's 卓诚默 proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save AS Monaco from getting a goal against them. FC Tó Madeira's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Hélder Nogueira in the 64th minute. After taking down the ball on FC Tó Madeira's corner Hélder Nogueira fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and 卓诚默 quite easily take care of the ball. After 82 minutes, 石超竞 mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the AS Monaco and the FC Tó Madeira players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of FC Tó Madeira booed when AS Monaco was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. 石超竞 didn't get a good kick on the ball. 86 minutes into the game, Marcelo Brito threw the ball into play from the sideline. AS Monaco's 张海凌 quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Eulalio Elequemedo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. 卓诚默 tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Niceto Izel might have been able to make a better finish in the 89th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over 卓诚默. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Niceto Izel ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience thought a goal was coming when Niceto Izel got free with 卓诚默 in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, AS Monaco's 胡亮骏 got a free kick in the 92nd minute.
The AS Monaco supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching FC Tó Madeira's performance. The match ended with a win for FC Tó Madeira.
