Syleth Stars's Jerome Pascoe quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Zbyszko Paciuszko, made in the 28th minute of the game. After 28 played minutes Syleth Stars got a freekick which was hit by Jerome Pascoe. Denis Brooks took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mamat Darwis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edmund Turek came free with the goalkeeper in the 30th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Denis Brooks could save by the left post. Denis Brooks made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Venancio Ascencio in the 33rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mamat Darwis in the 39th minute of play forced Syleth Stars's goalkeeper Denis Brooks to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Denis Brooks didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mamat Darwis went, in the 42nd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Edmund Turek could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Denis Brooks made a huge save. In the 47th minute Gleis Bremer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Denis Brooks saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mamat Darwis made a kick off. Syleth Stars's Denis Brooks played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mamat Darwis in the 52nd minute of play. Palau Końskowola were awarded a corner in the 53th minute after Syleth Stars's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Mamat Darwis took the corner. The corner led Palau Końskowola's Mamat Darwis to fire away a dangerous shot which Denis Brooks despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 55 minutes into the match, Venancio Ascencio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Denis Brooks. Syleth Stars's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Venancio Ascencio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Denis Brooks made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gleis Bremer in the 58th minute of play. After some careless play in the Syleth Stars defense, Mamat Darwis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Denis Brooks. The Syleth Stars fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Denis Brooks should have stopped the shot. After 66 minutes of play, Palau Końskowola's Edmund Turek made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. The tension between the Syleth Stars and the Palau Końskowola players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Syleth Stars getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Donny Potterton hit a great ball. 76 minutes into the match, Syleth Stars's goal looked a bit too open when Venancio Ascencio came free, but Denis Brooks reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luke Ashworth sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 79th minute Venancio Ascencio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Denis Brooks saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Syleth Stars's Denis Brooks played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Venancio Ascencio in the 81st minute of play. Denis Brooks showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gleis Bremer, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Darius Peakman's late challenge caught a Palau Końskowola's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Darius Peakman helped the player get up and apologised. After 89 played minutes Syleth Stars got a freekick which was hit by Darius Peakman. In the 92nd minute, Edmund Turek made a precise shot to the right of Denis Brooks. Syleth Stars's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 8-0. In the 96th minute Gleis Bremer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Denis Brooks saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Palau Końskowola fully deserved thier win.
