Wilson Vianna took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gabi Batistuta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 8 minutes into the match, La Candela FC's goal looked a bit too open when Dalmo Santos came free, but Enzo Silviano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gabi Batistuta in the 10th minute of play forced Gurdurão's goalkeeper Wilson Vianna to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A sloppy throw-in by João Vítor Dionísio in the 14th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by La Candela FC's Siro Noe. La Candela FC's Cai Bing Cheng got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The throw-in from Júlio Sá in the 17th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by La Candela FC's Orlando Medina. A sloppy throw-in by Alcides Silveira in the 21st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Gurdurão's Sandrinho Cabral. In the 22nd minute Gabi Batistuta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilson Vianna saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Gurdurão's Júlio Sá got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Gurdurão's defense didn't have a chance, in the 25th minute, when Gabi Batistuta scored to the left of an out of position Wilson Vianna, making the score, 1-0. 34 minutes into the game, Gabi Batistuta cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Wilson Vianna was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 37 played minutes La Candela FC got a freekick which was hit by Orlando Medina. A collision led to Gurdurão getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Fernandinho Cruz hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as La Candela FC's Gabi Batistuta slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Wilson Vianna. That made the score 4-0 after 47 minutes of play. La Candela FC's Ademar Castro was substituted for Teodosio Frans. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ademar Castro made a kick off. 67 minutes into the match, Gurdurão's goal looked a bit too open when Gabi Batistuta came free, but Wilson Vianna reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A hard shot by Dalmo Santos from long distance, 71 minutes into the match, got Enzo Silviano's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Douglas de Amaral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wilson Vianna came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by La Candela FC's Gabi Batistuta. But to his dismay, Gabi Batistuta quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. 82 minutes into the match, Gurdurão's goal looked a bit too open when Gabi Batistuta came free, but Wilson Vianna reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Enzo Silviano made an important save on a dangerous shot by Douglas de Amaral in the 88th minute. Wilson Vianna took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gabi Batistuta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 93 minutes into the match, Gurdurão's goal looked a bit too open when Ramón Ponce came free, but Wilson Vianna reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
