After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Karol Kinic managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mauro's supporters rose to their feet, but Karol Kinic was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wilson Vianna breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 20 minutes into the match, Gurdurão's goal looked a bit too open when Islam Slimani came free, but Wilson Vianna reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Islam Slimani made a kick off. In the 56th match minute, Gurdurão was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matías Bezerra to maneuver through the defense. Teofil Bara's shot from long distance in the 56th minute was not bad at all, but Gurdurão's Wilson Vianna knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. The supporters of Gurdurão booed when Mauro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wasyl Pincoski didn't get a good kick on the ball. But to his dismay, Karol Kinic quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Gurdurão's Wilson Vianna played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karol Kinic in the 78th minute of play. When Dalmo Santos came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Gurdurão fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dalmo Santos couldn't finish the play. If Pepe Giliamsen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
