If Marco Ruben had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 7th minute, Gavino Godoy got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Elpidio Pes got free with Ari Strömberg in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Orozcos's Ladislao Belarmo got a free kick in the 15th minute. The supporters of Real Kuskatan C.F. booed when Orozcos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Evaristo Abaunza didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Orozcos's zone, Izydor Czubski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sergio Romero came out of the goal and Izydor Czubski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marco Ruben during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 29 played minutes Real Kuskatan C.F. got a freekick which was hit by Marco Ruben. When Feliciano Havier came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Orozcos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Feliciano Havier couldn't finish the play. In the 33rd minute, Claudio Barreto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 47th minute Marco Ruben shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sergio Romero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Izydor Czubski to make the kick off. Izydor Czubski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Sergio Romero made a huge save. In the 53rd match minute, Orozcos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Evaristo Abaunza to maneuver through the defense. Feliciano Havier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 58th minute Feliciano Havier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ari Strömberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Juan Rosario fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Orozcos's protests and gave Juan Rosario a yellow card for diving instead. In the 66th minute, Juan Rosario hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Juan Rosario kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. After 68 played minutes, Real Kuskatan C.F.'s Marco Ruben shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Sergio Romero came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Real Kuskatan C.F. reached it. Orozcos's Sergio Romero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frans Escajadillo in the 73rd minute of play. After having played for 74 minutes, Feliciano Havier managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Orozcos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Feliciano Havier was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Orozcos's Sergio Romero got control of the ball when Izydor Czubski tried to sneak it across the goal line. After taking down the ball on Real Kuskatan C.F.'s corner Marco Ruben fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Sergio Romero quite easily take care of the ball. With his leg Sergio Romero managed to avoid a goal in the 79thth minute, when Real Kuskatan C.F.'s Izydor Czubski fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Orozcos's Sergio Romero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frans Escajadillo in the 80th minute of play. Frans Escajadillo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Sergio Romero made a huge save. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
